Guesthouse Kalamaki Beach sits right on the water at Riza, a calm corner of the Ionian coast just north of Preveza. The beach is a few steps from your balcony, and the water stays clear enough to see the bottom long after you've waded in.
It's a small place, second generation now in the same family. That means home cooking, a garden full of olive trees, and the kind of quiet that is getting harder to find. The doors open in May and close at the end of October.
We don't have air conditioning, and we don't want to. The sea breeze and the shade of the olive trees keep the rooms cool, the food comes from our own garden, and the days stay slow. This is a place for people who like nature, real food and quiet more than a resort. Families settle in quickly: the whole garden is fenced and safe for children, with hammocks, swings and a small slide, and the beach is calm, sheltered by rocks and free of strong currents.

A garden for children to roam
The whole garden is fenced and safe, with a small playground of swings, a slide and a seesaw under the olive trees, and a hammock to slow down in. Children can pick lemons and grapes off the trees, and the beach out front is calm and sheltered by rocks.
